Our charming old farmhouse is situated around 1.5km from the village of St Martin de la Place which lies on the banks of the River Loire. The gite is in a secluded location but unlike many similar properties, not remote from towns and amenities. The delightful small town of Longué is around 5 minutes away, with the lovely town of Saumur with its distinctive chateau only 10 minutes drive.

The house sleeps 6-8 people in 3 bedrooms, with 2 bathrooms and 3 WCs. The sunny climate can be enjoyed in the garden (around one acre) with a wide variety of fruit trees. Well behaved pets are very welcome and will enjoy the garden.

Inside the house you'll find comfortable accomodation for up to eight people. Comfortable beds, UK television via FreeSat, music systems and a PC with broadband wi-fi to enable you to plan those days out or just let the kids play their games. Towels and bed linen are provided and are included in the rental price.

The villages of St Martin de la Place (picture left) and St Clément des Levées both lie on the banks of the River Loire, around 1.5Km from the house. The villages both boast churches, boulangeries, tabacs, hotels, bars and restaurants.
